Boat pose is very excellent exercise to reduce belly fat. Lie on your back and keep the arms resting besides the body. Breathe deeply and slowly lift your chest and feet above the ground level. Raise your arms such that they stretch towards the feet. The fingers and toes should be in one line. Contract your abdominal muscles in the process. After retaining the position for few seconds come to the original spot and practice few rounds. It is a really useful exercise for the abs.
